my 6 month baby is suffering from severe cold n cough. she got 5 times sick in 6 months what could be the reason behind this either the temperature is not according to her or any other prblm. plz help

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if requiredff .

If It is happening frequently then I’m sure your child is suffering with some energy which is why this is happening it is better that you first get it checked as to what kind of an allergy it is it is weather change allergy or dust allergy or something accordingly the treatment can be started with the homoeopathic doctor
