Q.
my 5months baby is suffering from cough n cold, using saline nasal drops still not getting proper relief, please suggest any drops for cough with ml her weight is 5.8kg

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being gdiven to the child d

Maxtra five drops you can give it to the child of three times in the day with a gap of eight hours this is a basic antiallergic that you can offer to the child in the current situation and also I would recommend to nebulae the child that is also going to be beneficial
