A. formula milk was changed from similac to nan pro and this problem had solved since 3months. now again from 1week she has this problem. stools are not hard, but yet not as pasty as they used to be. it is more thicker. there is no breast milk because of no supply. and I'm not giving any solid food yet.

A. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child. it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age. if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause. but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properlyd digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk. also do not gived any food to the child except milk at this age.
