My 52 days old baby have cough for the past 4 days and he has been taking salbutamol 0.5ml tds for the past 2 days how long it will take to reduce the symptoms ?

Cough and cold can we because of some allergic reaction in the body most of the time it is viral in the origin need to give symptomagtic treatment first like steam inhalation and some home remediues cough expectorant may be required along with anti allergic medications
