Q.

#AskTheExpert My 5 years old daughter's weight is 12.8kg from last two years...she is not gaining weight and nor her height is increasing as per her age.she is very lean.pls tell me whether its normal or if she has some problem? I am so worried as her doctor says not to worry as she is active child.

A. you add calories foods.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.

A. Hi dear mom. Yes ur doctor is right. If ur child is active child then no need to worry about weight much. Add some of the weight gaining food to ur baby diet like egg ghee chicken paneer curd cheese potato rice avocado ragi banana shake etc for weight gain
