Q.
My 5 year son has fever from last two days day before yesterday he had fever but yesterday he had no fever but today again he has fever. How many days fever last .im giving him meftal p 5 ml along with cefixime 5 ml

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. you can continue the medicines given by the doctor and also continue the antibiotics and if the fever comes after 3 days of antibiotics then only you have to take a visit with your doctor

Okay so you can continue with that and you can give it every six hours when the fever is rising if you still do not see the fever subside totally by the time of 72 hours and you should go for further assessment as it could be a viral fever so other medication if any is required the doctor would advise you on that
