my 5 year old son makes teeth sound at night. what could be the reason and remedy for that.

A. This is called sleep bruxism, and studies estimate anywhere from 6% up to almost 50% of children engage in bruxism during the night. Bruxism is believed to be more common in childhood and it can start as soon as the teeth grow in. Grinding or clenching teeth may be an involuntary response to stress and anxiety.
