Q.
my 5 year old has mucuos and fungus in poop..he was going through lot of pain in stomach for the past 5 days.. loose motion was there too.. dr prescribed probiotic and antibiotic.. he takes probiotic but doesn't take antibiotic.. now stool is semisolid but it has mucuos and fungus like thing in it.. really worried.. please anyone help.. what's the reason .. can stool test help find out any issues in gut

if needed thed doctor will go for investigations

Hello it can basically be due to infection and this requires a proper medical attention and it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
