Q.

My 5 year boy child is suffering from mumps from 4 days. His mouth is swollen on one side. Doctor has given ibugesic ,azithromycin and polybion syrup. He was doing fine, but from today morning he is complaining of legs pain and is unable to walk properly. Please can anyone tell me what may be the problem. He yesterday fell down on knees too. Is it due to mumps that he is suffering weakness in legs and unable to walk or. Is it due to knee fall?

A. the pain is part of viral infection only and it will go away in 3 or 5 days so please do not worry and continue the medicines and for pain you can give Paracetamol to the child
