Q.
my 5 months old has cold and cough for last four days, no fever but his head is warm to touch, he is at exclusive breastfeeding, what should I do?

Author of questionMom of 2 children3 years agoA. thank you doctor, my baby head is warmer than usual and his forehead also, is that indicates fever?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam dinhalation . anti-cold medicines adt this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. for fever and pain give paracetamol continue the regular diet which is being given to the child
