Q.
my 5 months old baby sweats alot in the ni8 nd her hair get wet always nd pillow or clothes below her head also get wet. I am not making her wear cap because of the sweats. she is also getting continues running nose nd cough some time .. she wakes up crying due to stuffy nose, kindly suggest.

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician3 years agoA. sweating is due to hyperdynamic circulation present in babies Hi parent give saline nasal drops and steam inhalation with baby rub avoid exposure to cold weather if the problem perissts kindly consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

Keep her hydrated by giving her breast milk
mom should keep herself hydrated as well
for cold and cough :yo may keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far over night
don't expose her to winds and dust
take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered in the morning
