my 5 months 6 days old baby is very thin and she not gaining weight can I start solids to my baby for weight gain I don't have sufficient Brest milk.plz reply

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist1 Year agoA. dear Mum what is the weight baby should gain atleast 500 gram per month and should double the birth weight by 6 months or less baby should be exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete it is optimum for growth if baby is passing urine 6 to 8 times in 24 hours is active alert gaining adequate weight then feeding is sufficient
