Q.

my 5 month old girl baby had redness over urinary to anal region,consulted doctor he gave napigard cream and econorm sachet for 5 days and he said instead mother feeding give promil powder alternatively and said cause may be due to lactose tolerance..shall we introduce promil milk powder for 163 days old baby..am also tried applying coconut oil around urinary part, sometimes it reduces and sometimes it exists,,, what shall I do doctor?? please help me she is suffering from past 15days whether it may due to lactose tolerance..

A. Hello dear parent! Few babies have lactose intolerance. Just follow your doctor’s advice and start giving the formula that is advised for better health and nutrition. If you are still concerned then consult your doctor again for further advice. Continue applying pure coconut oil on the affected area to reduce the discomfort.
