Q.

my 5 month old boy, since last few days has a new quirk. he does not want to drink milk when hungry. we feed him at an interval of about 3/3.5 h. formula milk. since last few days he just doesn't want to drink the milk at first. then after a lot of convincing and distractions, he does drink. he drinks the whole bottle, meaning he was hungry, but he rejects it at first and it gets very tiring. what is happening, what's wrong? how to handle this?#asktheexperts

A. Namaste Father , Could be he does not wish to have formula, but as their is no option left for him and he is hungry he takes it, As per his age you can now introduce them to weaning foods were in you can start with liquid foods such as dal, rice water, vegetable soup,. fresh fruit juices, once they are comfortable with it , you can progress to semi solids
