I am a mother of 1 month old baby at night my baby need milk at an interval of 15 min she remains awake and after passing urine she requires milk is it normal?? and at what interval 1 month old baby needs to be feed

Ramasamy NMom of a 5 yr 2 m old girl4 years agoA. hi, until three month u have to feed your baby on demand and this is not a sign of decrease milk supply. Baby stomach is too small and they cannot hold large amount of milk, they need to feed in very short interval of time .

Hello Ma’am If your child is asking for a feed every 15 minutes and that is definitely not a good thing because a child should be full at least for minimum two hours after every single feed that you are providing to the child. Apart from that if you still feel that your child is having an issue then you should be consulting your doctor ones

SandhyaMom of a 8 yr 9 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi, make sure there is a gap of two hours between each feed. You need to give minimum of two hours gap. Breastfeed once in every two hours for 20 minutes that is 10 minutes on the left breast and 10 minutes on the right breast. And burp your baby well and then put the baby back to sleep. It is good if you sit and relax back and feed your baby. Do not feed in sleeping position.Write Your Answer Here
