Q.
My 5 month old baby pooping 4-5 times a day (was having cold earlier)but someday he doesn’t even poop or just do it 1 time. He poops very less in quantity when he poops for 4-5 times. Doctor has given medicine but he is not completely fine. Recommended stool test and report indicating infection in stomach.Doctor recommended antibiotics for 5 days.he is getting irritated sometime.please suggest

Author of questionFather of a 2 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. Can you please have a look on this stool report? Doctor has recommended Omnicef 100mg 2ml 2 times for 5 days. Todays’s 4th day his cold is almost gone but poops is irregular and he is getting irritate.please suggest thanks

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. okay no problem nj. babies less than 6 months of age may not be passing stools regularly and daily a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need to use any medicines to relieve the constipa
