Q.

My 5 month old baby has diarrhoea from 3 weeks. Doctor prescribed Zn20, walamycin and econorm. The episodes of stools stopped for a day but again started. Please suggest

A. Viral diarrhea lasts 5-14 days. Severe diarrhea only occurs on the first 1 or 2 days. But, loose stools can last for 1 to 2 weeks.
