POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. Weight of an infant in the initial years largely depends on the birth weight. Ideally, it should double the birth weight by 5th month or it should be between 7 to 7.5 kgs. Your baby's growth is fine right now. You can now also include semi solid foods like lentil puree, mashed banana, apple, pear and carrot puree, ragi and sooji porridge, mixed vegetable soup, home made cerelac, etc.
