Q.
my 5.7 years daughter is having itching in vaginal area. went to doctor and he prescribed a vaginal gel. even though after applying gel and gave bandy too..still she is having itching. urine culture test is in lab.we will get report tomorrow only..untill what can we do for reducing the itching. I am so worried..even i clean it with Dettol also she is keeping hands immediately after 5 min

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Just try to maintain proper hygiene over the area till the reports of urine come. If there is any chances of infection, you should get papsmear done to rule out the exact reason for infection.

Clean that area properly with any mile antiseptic liquid by adding it into water do not apply directly onto that after that I would advise you to apply Boroline anti septic cream in a good amount and repeat this exercise every 3 to 4 hours and make sure to clean that area properly once your child urination hopefully they should solve your problem otherwise you’ll have to consult a urologist
