my 4years baby has only cough dr.priscribed Allegra 5ml two times nd Ashtalin nebulizer 2 times..its 7 days completed but cough is nt going...plz suggest what i should do

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. probably there is need for antibiotics also Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

Cold and cough can take around 3-9 days to subside. so no need to worry.
Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor
it will be fine.
Also apply vicks vaporub on the chest of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
