Q.
My 4month old breast feeding baby poops after 4 to 5 days sometimes it goes till 7 days . The baby is very active and shows no discomfort also. Is that normal?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solidd to solid there is no needd to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burpingd for 15 to 20 minutes
