my 43 days old boy baby always jitters his hands and legs while sleeping only.... is this any problem

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deficiency. kindly continue to give breastffeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.

little bit jittering is ok.
but if there is other abnormalities like the frequency of it is too much , Child feel breathing, sleeping or feeding difficulty etc then you should consult your pediatrician.
