Q.

my 40 days old baby having multiple stones in his gallbladder. The larger one is of 7.4 mm. can any one suggest a best doctor for treatment?

A. If your child has symptomatic gallstones, the only effective treatment is surgery to remove the gallbladder. Your child's doctor may recommend laparoscopic surgery or a procedure called ERCP. These are both minimally invasive procedures. For a laparoscopy, small incisions are made on the child's abdomen.
