My 4 months old baby completely depends on my breastfeed. Is it safe to take covishield vaccine at this time? Please suggest

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician4 years agoA. yes safe Hi Yes now There is data available for covid-19 vaccination related effect on lactating mother /expected mothers- to baby. Hence better to take vaccination if mother is lactating or pregnent. Just avoid vaccination in first trimester pregnency.

If you have other issues I will suggest you to see your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
