My 4 month old sleeps only for 8 hrs in an 24 hour period, why is it so

A. There is actually very less but usually if a child is sleeping for a minimum of 8 to 10 hours it’s decent amount of sleep but yes I can agree that the child is really sleeping less so you can check with your doctor regarding that
