Q.
my 4 month is suddenly having nasal congestion without cold, it feels like wheezing for few seconds only, is it anything to concern and also his feeding schedule also got changed earlier he used to get feed every 2 hr now he want feed after 3 /4 hr, and also spitting up after 1 or 2 hr after feeding though burping is done after every feed.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cdause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
for fevexr and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child
