Q.
My 4 month baby boy's ear is getting a bad smell may i know the reason for it?. He is on breast feeding

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. you have to clean the ears of the child only externally with cotton cloth. do not use anything like earbuds to clean the internal ear. this will only do more harm as wax will get impacted inside deep and will cause more problem. if you feel that the child is having somer problems in the internal ear then kindly meet your doctor for examination. if the child is having wax problem and not improving with drops you chave to get it removed with thet help of your ent doctor.

NikithaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello this can be due to ear infection and it requires a proper medical attention and it would be better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better and also safe too
