My 4 month baby always jumps from my lap while breastfeeding. Is it ok to breastfeed baby on lying down position always

A. Good morning, Yes, when done correctly, breastfeeding while lying down is perfectly safe. Follow these tips to make sure your baby is comfortable and safe: Practice during the day before trying to use it at night. Ensure that your space is free from excess pillows and bedding. To nurse your baby while cradling or holding him across your lap, he should be lying on his side, resting on his shoulder and hip with his mouth level with your nipple. His whole front of his body should touch the front of your body.
