Q.

My 4 day baby girl.. Bilirubin count is 12.19 mg/dl.. Is it is sign for worry? Is she need treatment?

A. Absolutely nothing to worry about.My gal Bilirubin count was 13.9 so upto 15 is well within the spectrum.Doc may suggest to start Vit D3.Try feeding the baby frequently so that she will frequently urinate and that will help her to excrete the excess bilirubin.

A. It is little on the higher so it is as in the normal range is about 5 to 5.5 so it is little higher than that that may Joe child is having jaundice badhaj completely normal range so do not worry about it in the doctors advised to keep your child phototherapy kindly go ahead Vedha

A. ask your doctor. feed the baby regularly, baby has to urinate and poop for jaundice to reduce. so keep feeding well to make baby urinate well
