Q.

My 4 and half years old son gets nose bleed during summer. And it is quite frequent. I was told that this can be due deficiency of Vitamin K. Wanted a second opinion

A. no bleeding from the nasal cavity also known as epistexis. during the initial bleeding episode you will have to press up on the bleeding area to stop the bleeding. you can press some cold ice or cold cloth also to decrease the bleceding after bleeding stops you have to make use of nasal saline drops to keep the nasal cavity moist and also apply antibacterial cream (tbact) over the bleeding area for faster healing
