Q.

My 4.5 year kid (boy) got chapped lips after high fever. Is it normal ? And what’s the solution for it ? We are applying butter on the lips .

A. Thanks for the response . The lips were fine just 5 days back. He got viral since then the lips are dry and chapped .

A. you can apply coconut oil or ghee on the lips of the child which will help in decreasing the dryness and give more fluids in the diet of the child. sometimes it might be associated with nutritional deficiency as well as when the child is licking tfhe lips again and again.x also it might be associated with any allergy which might be causing such reaction so it is advisable that after application of coconut oil or ghee if it is not improving then kindly meet your doctor for examination
