A. Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go . In the toddlers thumb sucking habit is also seen many a times which could be phycological cause f r and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable and divert in some activities also spend good time with the child . In extreme case withdrawal can be tried with some solution available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be applied locally .

A. Hi It’s a very normal and common habit of a child so you just have to keep things out of reach of your child and make sure nothing small that can easily get into the mouth should come into the hand of your child otherwise it’s going to be like your child is going to eat it it’s a very normal habit you just have to keep saying
