Q.

my 3month old lo have colic issue,he cried loudly sometimes. what to do? he is on BF only. does feeding position cause flatulence?

A. Breastfeeding is not a cause of colic, and babies who take infant formula get colic, too. Parents tend to cradle a colicky baby face-up, but that may not help. Instead, hold their face down -- with your hand under their belly and their head on your forearm. The pressure on their tummy can help relieve uncomfortable gas.
