Q.

My 3 years boy had fever with cold and cough for 2 days and stopped for one day. Again it has started. The paediatrician prescribed ATM 200, zincold and kofover syrup. Not prescribed any paracetamol for fever. Do you think fever has re occurred because of that? Can I start P250 syrup along with the antibiotic?

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhahilation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.h
