Q.

My 3 years 2month baby is having fever since 4 to 5 days and the temperature is varying..and it increases mostly during night. He is feeling quite weak and is cranky due to cough.

A. Thank you sir. Already giving him Crocin and Cetrazine along with Ambroxyl hydrochloride.Still the fever is there

A. for fever as well as pain kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature. also when u take temperature in the xarmpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give paracetamol. higher medicines for fever like ibugesic and mefenamic has to be given only after medical consultation. after givingx fever medicines you can wait for maximum 3 days and then meet your doctor if it is not improving. keep the child in cool atmosphere
