Q.
My 3 year old suddenly developed hives all over her body and we started medication on the same day..She was given Atarax and Omnicortil Forte syrups ...It's been 6 days now and it is not going away completely...After giving medicine hives are subsided but the area seem reddish .....The previous week she was down with viral fever .....We gave her PARACETAMOL and LEVOLIN as she had cough too.....No antibiotics was given ....It's been 2 weeks after fever but cough is not cured completely and now she has hives all over her body...Is it due to infection?

difficult to tell without examination whether it is normal or not.
advisable to remain in contact with your doctor for proper guidance and treatment
whenever you are taking any medicine which has been given by your doctor you have to wait and watch for three days and follow the instructionsz given by the doctor and if there is no improvement after three days then take a follow up.
so kindly take a follow up with your doctor who will tell you whether any change in medicine or any other investigationz is needed or not .
