my 3 year daughter is having hand foot infection i started applying calamine lotion.it is enough or any recommendation

Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in thands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so gdive plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and maintain a good hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally
