Q.

My 3 months old son is sleeping a lot in the night without feeding. He sleeps for 8 hours without disturbance. I am worried about his feeding. Is it normal?

A. if the weight gain of the child is more than 700 grams in 1 month then no need to worry regarding the sleeping pattern of the child even if it is more than four or five hours at a stretch

A. Hello dear parent! Normal finding in small babies. As long as your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine a minimum 6 to 8 times in a day, gradually gaining weight then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
