Q.

My 3 months daughter is active, trying to roll on, crawl during tummy time, talks and smile with us, very less cranky but from last one and half month she is putting on less than 20 grams per day. Tried feeding her extra in night but no help. Our pediatric said she may be lean baby. Need second opinion on the same.

A. dear Mum baby should gain at least 500 gram per month which is the case for your baby baby should double the birth weight by 6 months or less as you mentioned she is active achieving growth milestones do not worry exclusively breastfeed her on demand till 6 months complete

A. Right now ideal weight on this app on lower side shows 4kg 600 grams where as my baby weighs only 4kg 400 grams her birth weight was 2kg 800 grams. she is exclusively breastfed.
