Q.

My 3-month-old baby is not drinking milk properly. I usually feed him directly through breast , i tried feeding him with a spoon as well but still he is not and most of the time he is playful. what might be the reason?

A. Breastfeeding is always a very important factor for the baby and mother and many times there are some problem faced by mother because of either wrong position while feeding lack of proper diet stress related factors. A proper is counselling is required which can be done by a lactational counsellor along with a proper diet with plenty of liquids some supryplements may be helpful like shatavari . Also try to avoid giving top milk in initial stage specially with bottle feeding which may be rthe culprit for lactational failure most of the time .

A. Hello dear parent! Baby’s feeding and sleeping pattern keeps changing. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Keep checking if your baby is passing adequate urine 6 to 8 times daily, showing no signs of discomfort. Check if your baby is teething. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy
