Q.

My 3 month old baby boy cries a lot before sleeping. About 1 hour. Have to rock him and then only falls asleep. Rejects breastfeeding at that time. Is it normal? Will this behavior go as months pass by?

A. When parents encounter their baby crying for hours before sleep, most of them are clueless about what needs to be done. You might be exhausted from taking care of your child the entire day and ready to fall asleep at a moment’s notice, but your little one does not seem to be on the same page as you in this regard. Babies have spent all their time in your womb, where everything was made automatically comfortable for the child. Therefore, it takes a little more effort at our end to ensure that a safe and comfortable environment for the child is created out here as well. https://parenting.firstcry.com/articles/3-reasons-why-do-baby-cry-before-sleeping/
