A. Dear mum, your baby has gained 2.3 kg in 3 months which is a normal weight gain, do not worry. Baby should gain at least 500 grams per month. For healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
