Q.

My 3.9 year old had ear syringing on last Monday 4 days back after giving wax dissolvent drops for 15 days. Very little wax came out. The Ent doc said now there is no wax and no need to give anything now. There was no pain also. Today after 4 days I given him bath and after that he is complaining of ear pain. I have given him Ibrupofen. what to do now should I have to give wax dissolvent drops again for ear pain?

A. may be some other caus eof ear pain if you see that the child is having ear pain you will have to give painkiller that is paracetamol which will help in decreasing the pain for now and then meet your doctor to find the cause of ear pain because it can be due to infectison as well as cough and cold. during an emergency you can use otogesic ear drops (2drops in the ear)
