Q.

My 3.5 month baby has reflux and doesn't sleep or nap unless walked and rocked and wakes up very soon on placing in crib. how to overcome?

A. gastroesophageal reflux disease also known as g e r d is very common problem in small children less than 6 months of age and it does not have any permanent treatment and the problem decreases with increasing age of the child and the important thingz is that you have to keep the child in upright position for more duration for which gerd chairs are available and at the same time you have to continue and tested medicines given by the doctor. reflux is very commonx cause of recurrent cough cold as well as not gaining weight in infants.
