A. that's fine. development by the age of 2 years the child should be able to speak few words with meaning in the sentence and should be able to understand all the commands and orders given by the parents and if you feel that they are not present in your child it is important to meet your pediatrician to assess the growth milestones of the child and whether there is any need of therapy or not. if child has good understanding and follows orders and command of the parents properly then do not worry much about speech as will eventually come. talk more with child. avoid tv mobile laptop. involve more people to interact with the child.

A. Every child develops at their own pace, and while pretend play is common around the age of two, not all children engage in it at the same time. Some children may take longer to develop pretend play skills, and others may have different interests altogether. It's essential to provide opportunities for pretend play by offering toys and activities that encourage imagination, but it's also important not to force it. Some children may prefer other types of play, such as exploring sensory experiences or engaging in physical activities. If you have concerns about your child's development, including their lack of interest in pretend play, it's always a good idea to discuss them with a pediatrician or early childhood development specialist. They can provide guidance and support based on your child's individual needs and development.
