A. Hhzole cannot be applied internally. If baby has fungal infection, then there are other antifungal mouth paints. Just confirm with your doctor once

A. HHZole cream is typically used for fungal skin infections and is not recommended for use inside the mouth unless specifically advised by a pediatric specialist. For white patches on the gums and tongue in an 11-month-old baby, the cause is often oral thrush—a common fungal infection caused by Candida. In such cases, pediatricians usually recommend oral antifungal drops or gel like miconazole oral gel or nystatin suspension, which are safe for use in the mouth. Do not apply HHZole cream inside the mouth without clear instructions from a pediatrician, as it may not be safe or effective for oral use. Please consult your pediatrician again and ask specifically for an oral-safe medication if the issue is oral thrush.
