Q.

My 2months 15days old baby is not passing stool from 8days.From yesterday we are giving him syp.lactulose thrice a day but still he is not passing stool. Can someone advise on next steps on how to deal with this issue.

A. not advisable to give medicines to Babies below 6 months may not be passing stool regularly a constipation of 8 to 10 days is absolutely normal in them there is no need of any medicines

Q. my one year old daughter is having constipation since quite mny days now.... we are giving lactulose to her. but only if we give lactulose , she is passing stool, otherwise she keeps on crying either of hard stool or may be stomachache because of constipation.
