Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous highhx grade fever thhan it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

give oral rehydration solution ORS to baby
keep baby well hydrated increase the water intake
coconut water butter milk lassi apple banana poha upma khichdi curd you can give
