Q.
my 25 days old baby is having cold and cough... what can be done for immediate relief and what precautions to be taken

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of coffugh.
if fevefgr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

You Can just give steam to the child indirectly which is what is going to be the best solution as of now and only medicines are going to give instant relief to the child because it baby is too small I will not be able to give you any home remedy for that it’s important for you to get a check with your doctor
