Q.
My 25 days newborn vomitted yesterday the entire milk during feeding (bottle-formula milk) and had a choking sensation. later to that also, she tried to aggressively latch the bottle and had a choking feeling again. what should i do, as this is second time in these 25 days that she has vomitted like this. we get scared a lot. please guide.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. sometimes it can occur due to the reflux problem and sometimes the child might be having intermittent difficulty in swallowing but do not worry if it is occurring again and again then only you have to meet the doctor and try to do burping for 15 to 20 minutes to decrease the chances of reflux

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Occasional spit ups after feeding is normal in small babies as long there is no associated discomfort symptoms in the baby. Continue feeding your baby well on demand. If required go for frequent small feeds. Burp the baby after every feed. If you are still concerned then consult your doctor for further assistance.
